In my previous columns, I’ve shared insights from my experiences at companies like Martinsson, Atea, Bisnode, Nexus, and Infotheek. Each of these projects involved extensive—and sometimes painful—transformations aimed at creating one company.
Now, it’s time to share the journey I had with Nordlo—a company built with a completely different approach and strategy.
The Opportunity That Came Knocking
In 2018, a headhunter reached out to me with an intriguing proposition: FSN Capital had acquired three Swedish IT companies—Office IT-Partner, Zetup, and Dicom. The vision was to merge them into a new, leading IT provider for the Nordic market.
I was asked if I’d be interested in taking on the role of Chairman of the Board for this new company.
Both the headhunter and FSN Capital did an excellent job of getting me interested in the case. In particular, I want to highlight Jesper Isaksson from FSN, whose efforts in convincing me to accept the role were outstanding.
A New Challenge Begins
Ultimately, I said yes—and in doing so, I stepped into a fascinating new project, one that I’ll be sharing more about in the coming columns.
So stay tuned.
