Climate View was originally founded by Tomer Shalit and Einar Bodström with the extremely ambitious goal of helping the public sector drive and monitor the transition towards climate neutrality. As part of this, the company has managed to attract heavyweight investors from Japan, Germany, France, Norway and Sweden. Over the past year, the company has undergone an extreme phase of change and is seeing clear signs of increased acceptance at a global level for its offering. In 2016, P/E firm Altor acquired a majority stake in the Dutch IT company Infotheek. In its ambition to add bandwidth and industry knowledge, Altor contacted me and asked if I was interested in helping out. So, since 2016, I have held both the role of Chairman and Group CEO in what became an exciting, complex and successful journey. Infotheek was split into two operating units, Centralpoint and Flex. ECO Datacenter was founded by ambitious entrepreneurs with a strong strategic understanding and insight into the need to create high-capacity data centres with a green profile. After financing this startup with their own funds, they chose to bring in AREIM as the main owner. This was to ensure funds for continued investments in the billions.

AREIM in turn chose to contact me to contribute with my experience in fast-growing companies, my IT knowledge and management experience. The work became particularly intense and an important part was to work for the best possible cooperation between minority and majority shareholders. As a next step in achieving commercial success on a global level, I helped recruit Peter Michaelsson as the new CEO. Peter previously came from global responsibility roles within Ericsson.

ECO Datacenter continues to grow at rocket speed through very large investments in capacity, coupled with the ability to win the trust of some of the world’s most demanding customers. In 2018, FSN Capital’s ambitious plan to form a new Nordic IT partner was initiated by acquiring Office IT partner, Dicom and Zetup in one fell swoop. To initiate and make this journey possible, it was decided to recruit a new chairman of the board and a new CEO. I was trusted to become the company’s new chairman and the choice fell on Fredrik Almen as the new CEO.

The company was renamed Nordlo and, together with Fredrik, we set out a sustainable and successful strategy based on a strong local presence and delegated decision-making power. Nordlo is now established as one of the most profitable companies in the Nordic region.

We created a truly value-driven company with the goal to be the Swedish National Team within IT Infrastructure. We changed all rules, and also our bonus systems to fit to our values.

When I was appointed to the CEO Martinsson had done a lot of acquisitions of IT companies. During my time as the CEO we integrated all this units, we created one finance , one IT, one HR but kept the business responsibility close to the customers all over Sweden.

We divested business logics like System development and Business Systems to give full focus on IT Infrastructure. In 2002 we acquired the stock listed IT company IMS. Our focus became to be the leading Server company in the Swedish market.
