My approach is holistic
The world is more and more complex. And things go faster and faster. To secure that your company deliver good results over time you must have a clear strategy. The digitalization of the society gives new opportunities, but it also increases the stress and press at the company to be agile and fast enough to continue to be a winner. My approach has always been – and will always be – holistic. You need to understand the macro trends to secure that your company will be futureproof. Based on this approach I believe in creating a strategy with no nonsense, with high ambition and goals that are easy to communicate. Your colleagues have an inner compass for what’s right and what’s wrong, so I would urge you to spend a lot of time and effort to anchor your strategy within your organization.
Future proof strategy
The world is changing faster than ever. Companies that are able to use all new technologies can move extremely fast. If you want to survive in this environment, your strategy and your culture must be agile enough. I have time after time helped companies to create a clear “Why” and strategy that has proven to be future safe. Based on a combination of deep system understanding and deep technological understanding combined with my true passion for people and leadership, I have the capacity to sort out a strategy that can stand the heat of increasing competition.
How to develop a strong management team
I have many times experienced the warm and rewarding feeling of working together with people in a team (not a group) of people that can trust each other. For me it’s one of the most important tasks there is for a leader – to create a team of people that works tight together with a clear agenda and the same goal. With full trust and with the ability to show vulnerability! Remember that synergy between brains only can occur in safe environments!
Effective organizational setup
After a whole life as a leader, I have of course tested almost every possible version of organizational setup. And I can assure you – there are no things like a perfect model… Each company and each situation need a tailor-made setup based on all parameters, like competition, geography, go to-market strategy, etc.
